Hammered Dulcimer:David Clauss, Guitar:Robyn Hilliard, Claps:David, Robyn & Paul Glidden, Hardangfele (Swedish Droning fiddle):Simon, Tin Whistle:Dick Tibbets, Bass:Jeff Pekarek. Weird name but a jiving little medley...a definitely strange instrument by Simon!

Song Titles and Info: Side 2

  1. Slides (Pronounced "Schlieds", The Ballyfin Slide, O'Keefe's Slide and The Cock of the North). Hammered Dulcimer:David, Guitar and soprano recorder:Robyn, Fiddle:Simon, Tin Whistle and hand drum:Dick, Bass:Jeff. A more advanced form of our mix-and-match approach to traditional music that would find even more experimental outlets in our subsequent albums.

  2. Do You Love an Apple? (after The Bothy Band's arrangement) Vocals:Sharon Fischer, Guitars:Robyn and David Kendall, Hammered Dulcimer:David Clauss, Fiddles:Simon Spalding, Bass:Jeff, Background vocals, Robyn, Simon & David K. Lovely, lovely, lovely! Her husband's such a SCHMUCK!

  3. Irish Polkas (The Jenny Lind Polka, Dennis Murphy's Polka and Maurice Manley's Polka). Hammered Dulcimer:David, Guitar & soprano recorder:Robyn, Fiddles:Simon Spalding, Tin Whistles:Dick Tibbits, Bass:Jeff Pekarek. An early example of their non-traditional approach to Irish Trad, moving between keys and rhythms in a most non-trad way...just to keep it interesting!

  4. Gerryowen / Brian Boru's March (David had a subtitle for this one but I don't remember what it was right now...jazz rock riffs at the end are "Trouble with a Capital T" by Horslips) Hammered Dulcimer:David, Accoustic and Electric Guitars, soprano recorder, afuche-cabasa and flute:Robyn, Fiddle:Simon, Drums:Paul, Tin Whistles:Dick.

  5. Two Magicians. Vocals:Robyn and Sharon, Narration & chorus:David Kendall, Hammered Dulcimer:David, Electric & Accoustic Guitars:Robyn, Fiddle:Simon. An awful lot of fun, though we're still apologizing for sexism and condoning rape.

  6. The Black Nag (with Coleraine). Hammered Dulcimer:David, Accoustic and Electric Guitars & soprano recorder:Robyn, Tin whistles:Dick, Fiddle:Simon, Drums:Paul.
